Unlocking educational and social opportunities
At TSH, our Outpost school support program offers extensive in-school support across primary and secondary partner schools in the metropolitan area, enabling children with hearing loss to access the same educational and social opportunities as their peers.
Established over 40 years ago in WA, the program maintains a permanent presence in the school and focuses on the development of oral language and literacy using listening skill development.
Our team of education and allied health professionals work collaboratively to support the whole child and ensure each student receives personalised support to fulfil their potential. This may include support with listening, language, speech, social/emotional skills, occupational therapy and academics, all whilst fostering independence of the child.
